Bees, Butterflies, & Blooms: A Pollinator Paradise

The Morris becomes a paradise for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators in its newest exhibition! Each month brings together people, plants, and pollinators in meaningful ways, including brand new exhibits, fun events, interactive workshops, specialty guided tours, and more!
Garden Railway: World Pollinators
OPENS MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
Garden Railway reopens for the season, featuring charming miniature trains weaving through a landscape teeming with flowers and buzzing with life.
Exuberant Blooms

Our returning floral display bursts with a riot of colors and fragrances, celebrating the variety and splendor of flowering plants.

Summer of Dinos
May 25 – September 30, 2024
Visitors were invited to discover Plants in the Age of Dinosaurs—a self-guided exhibition featuring plants in our collection with roots that go back to prehistoric times. There was also a brand-new dinosaur exhibition in the Garden Railway, Garden Railway: Dinos! Plus, a pop-up paleontologist’s cottage featuring hands-on “dig stations” and special family programming,

Summer of Swings
June 24 – October 2, 2022
Summer of Swings was a seasonal exhibit that invited visitors of all ages to experience the Morris in a totally new way—while perched on one of 10 swings placed strategically across 92 acres of spectacular gardens.

90th Anniversary
March – December 2023
We celebrated this historic milestone by unveiling a new name, a refreshed brand, and a renewed emphasis on colorful plantings. We reopen our popular Rose Garden and revealed Exuberant Bloom, and throughout the year we held events and programs in celebration of our anniversary. We’ll also shared bits of our history every week on social media—check out #90yearsofMorris to get a glimpse into our past.
