The admission price paid by the persons included in the membership onsite or online may be applied on the same day of your visit.
Yes! Your digital membership card can be downloaded into your Apple or Android Wallet and can be scanned onsite for quick entry.

When you purchase your membership online, you will receive a proof of purchase receipt via email to use immediately. If you choose to visit the Morris before our system has fully processed your membership, you may simply bring a copy of your email receipt and give your name to the attendant at the front gate. Once your digital membership is fully processed, you may present your digital membership card to the attendant at the kiosk. If you’ve opted out of digital membership, your membership card will arrive in the mail within 10 – 15 business days.
Members will receive a daily admission allowance that matches their membership level. For example, if you are a Supporter member, you will receive a total of 4 free daily general admissions plus the number of any Add-On Youth Passes you’ve purchased.
Members receive 50% off general admission tickets so you can enjoy your visit with as many friends and family as you like. Members must accompany their guests at the time of their visit.
Our membership program brings you flexibility in choosing with whom you will share your membership benefits. Memberships can be shared between people living in different households and any named member can bring guests to Morris, as long as the number of adults and children doesn’t exceed the limit of admissions per day based on your membership level.
Anyone aged 3+ needs to be accounted for in your chosen member level headcount, and one named cardholder (18+) must be present for each visit.
You can purchase additional youth passes for up to 4 family members under the age of 18 with an annual Add-On Youth Pass for $12 each. These Add-On Youth Passes are limited to the member’s children or grandchildren. Add-On Youth Passes must be added to a membership at the time of purchase and are not available as a stand-alone product.
All emails (Seasons magazine, event invitations, renewal notices, etc.) are sent to the primary member’s email address.
Yes, we would be delighted to upgrade your membership! Upgrading is an option up to two months prior to your renewal date and you will pay the difference of what you originally paid for your current membership level. Your membership expiration date will remain the same. If you wish to upgrade any time between two months or less, you will be asked to pay full price and renew at the upgraded level and receive full benefits of that level. No. Children younger than 3 years of age are admitted free of charge. It is not necessary to purchase an Add-On Youth Pass on your membership for children under 3. At least one named cardholder (18+) must be present for every visit with a child. At the Friends & Family membership level, you can name additional adults as cardholders if you wish, in instances where there are other family members or caregivers that might like to visit with/without you or any children within the group.
Yes, adding up to four grandchildren is an option at any membership level. Add-On Youth Passes are available for purchase at $12 each for grandchildren who are between the ages of 3 and 18. Add-On Youth Passes must be added to a membership at purchase and are not available as a stand-alone product.
Yes! Your caregiver is welcome to be one of the named cardholders on your membership. The philanthropic membership levels have the Child Caregiver Benefit built into the membership level. Your child(ren)’s caregiver who is 18 or older may represent you and accompany your child(ren) free of charge when you are unavailable.
Yes! Your medical caregiver or assistant may accompany you free of charge and their attendance will not be counted in your membership’s daily general admission limit.
While we do not offer discounted memberships for students or seniors, we do offer discounted admission for those individuals. Group rates are also available. Click here for admission fees.
No. Memberships are non-transferable and can only be used by the named cardholders and their included children/Add-On Youth Passes.
Philanthropic membership levels (Supporter, Patron, and Benefactor members) include a number of one-time use general admission guest passes that are mailed to your home. For those who opt out of digital membership cards, the passes will be mailed with your membership cards. Supporter memberships include 2 one-time use guest passes. Patron memberships include 4 one-time use guest passes. Benefactor memberships include 6 one-time use guest passes.
Yes. Please contact the Membership Office at members@morrisarboretum.org to request a printed copy of the education course brochure. Please include your name, mailing address, and current email address in the message. The current courses, lecture series, and tour offerings can be found here.
We strongly encourage all of our members to take advantage of the benefits of digital membership cards, which will ensure that your membership materials are with you whenever you have your cellphone. Click here to download your digital membership card to your online wallet.
For those who have opted out of digital membership cards, you may show your ID to the kiosk attendant, and they will look up your name in the membership system. Please call Member Services at 215-24-5777 x205 Monday through Friday or email the Membership Office at members@morrisarboretum.org to request replacement materials be mailed to your home. Please provide your current address so that we can confirm what we have on file.
Membership processing takes 10 – 15 business days. During busier seasons, processing can take longer. If you do not have a digital or physical card, you can show your ID to the attendant at the gate, and they can look up your name in our membership system.

Usually when this happens it's because our renewal mailing and your payment crossed paths. Our renewals are mailed at the nonprofit bulk rate to save on postage. Bulk mail can take anywhere from 2 days to 3 weeks to be delivered to our members’ homes.
No. Morris does not participate in a reciprocal admissions network.

Members can present their membership card in our Gift Shop to receive a 10% discount on their purchases.
As a nonprofit organization, our memberships are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Membership rates, benefits, and value associated with membership benefits are subject to change without notice.
