When you purchase your membership online our admission system immediately recognizes you as a member. Please plan to visit right away. Just give your name to the attendant at the gate. Your membership card and one-time use guest passes will arrive in the mail within 7-10 business days.

Yes, Dual Memberships and higher levels include any two named people, regardless if they live in the same household or not. Entrance to the Arboretum is then granted to the two named members. All mailings (Seasons newsletter, mailed invitations, etc.) are sent to the primary member’s address.

The admission paid by the persons included in the membership is only good if you join onsite the same day you paid admission at the gate.

Yes. Upgrading is an option up to two months prior to your renewal date and you will pay the difference of what you originally paid for your current membership level. Your membership expiration date will remain the same. If you wish to upgrade any time between two months or less, you will be asked to pay full price and renew at the upgraded level and receive full benefits of that level. It is not necessary to list children on your membership if they are under 3 years of age. Please only list children who are between the ages of 3-18. Children 2 and under are admitted free of charge.

Yes, adding up to four grandchildren is an option at the Family Level or higher.

While we do not offer discounted memberships for students or seniors, we do offer discounted admission for those individuals. Group rates are also available. Click here for admission fees.

Absolutely, you are able to receive free admission and other benefits to more than 300 gardens and arboreta throughout the U.S. through the American Horticultural Society’s Reciprocal Admission Program. Please click here or call the membership office at 215.247.5777 x151 for a printed copy.

Memberships are non-transferable and can only be used by the named cardholders and their included children.

Yes, all membership levels include a number of one-time use general admission guest passes and they are mailed with your membership cards. For general memberships (Individual, Dual and Family), 2 guest passes are included for one-year memberships and 4 guest passes are included for two-year memberships. Beech memberships include 4 guest passes for a one-year membership and 8 guest passes for a two-year membership. Chestnut memberships include 6 guest passes. Holly memberships include 8 guest passes. Oak and Laurel level memberships include 10 guest passes.

Opting to be an eco-friendly member does not change your current membership level or benefits. It reduces the number of printed publications you will receive from the Arboretum.

Eco-friendly members will receive

  • Printed membership cards by mail.
  • E-Newsletters that will include links to our latest publications and events. Please be sure we have your correct email.

Eco-friendly members will not receive

  • Printed copies of the education course brochure.

To become an eco-friendly member and/or to update your email address, please contact the membership office at members@morrisarboretum.org. Please include your name, mailing address, and current email address in the message. Thanks for choosing to go green!

Please call Membership Services at 215.247.5777 x205 M-F 9am-5pm or email the Membership Office at members@morrisarboretum.org to request replacement materials be mailed to your home. Please provide your current address so that we can proof what we have on file.

You will be asked to show your ID to the gate attendant and they will look up your name on our membership list. To expedite service at the front gate and prevent any problems with admission, it is important that you check to make sure you have your ID and membership cards before visiting the Arboretum.

Membership processing takes between 7-10 business days. During busier seasons, processing can take longer. If you do not have a temporary card(s), please give your name to the attendant at the gate and they can look up your membership in our admission system.

Usually when this happens it's because our renewal mailing and your payment crossed paths. Our renewals are mailed at the non-profit bulk-rate to save on postage. Bulk mail can take anywhere from 2 days to 3 weeks to be delivered to our members homes.
