A striking walkway that soars 50 feet above the ground this treetop experience provides your guests with a bird’s eye view of the forest, for a truly memorable event.
Widener Plaza is adjacent to the historic stone carriage house and overlooks a large green lawn.
The tented reception area, with optional side flaps for inclement weather, can accommodate up to 175 guests for a sit-down dinner. Tables and chairs are included.
Several interior rooms off the reception tent accommodate essential party features, including: a bar, dessert station, photo booth, etc. Wheelchair accessible restrooms are available indoors and out.

When you select Morris Arboretum as your wedding location, you are supporting the Arboretum's mission to plant and protect trees.
You must choose your caterer from a list of approved caterers that offer you a broad range of menu options, styles and pricing. We have carefully pre-screened our caterers to assure that they are thoroughly familiar with the Arboretum's facilities and policies, while offering you the highest quality of support and service. If you are interested in decorating the ceiling of the reception tent, you will be required to work with Philadelphia-based Wild Stems. They offer several innovative tent installations featuring floating linen fabrics, string lights and/or paper lanterns in a variety of colors. For more information contact:

The Arboretum’s paths are clear but due to icy conditions some features may be closed.
The Morris Arboretum is excited to be open! We have instituted new policies as required by the government of Pennsylvania in order to keep the public safe while visiting. Please review the policies below before your visit.
Unfortunately, Out on a Limb will be closed on Wednesday, January 29th through Friday, January 31, 2020 due to scheduled maintenance.
The Garden Railway will not be operational from 2:00 PM Friday (July 19) through the weekend (July 20-21). The trains will open for normal operation on Monday, July 22nd. Our Train Master reported that the trains will not operate in the excessive heat, citing electrical, track and rolling stock failures.

Garden Railway trains are not running Saturday, September 8th and Sunday, September 9th due to inclement weather.
Please note: The Rose Garden is closed for maintenance every Thursday morning until noon.
Weather conditions may limit garden access to certain features even if the garden is open – please check the web site or call (215) 247-5777 for updates before visiting. Our visitors’ safety in the garden is our top priority. Therefore when inclement weather is predicted, we will make decisions about closing the garden accordingly.
