Colchicum ‘Waterlily’. A hybrid between two different Colchicum species (C. autumnale ‘Alboplenum’ and C. speciosum ‘Album’) produced this multi-petalled beauty. The rich pink hues of the Waterlily autumn crocus belie the fact that both of its parents have pigment-less white flowers. 📷: Vince Marrocco, Chief Horticulturist/Rosarian
