A fairy tale wedding location. Not your typical venue. Booking the Morris as our venue was one of the best wedding related decisions that we made. Looking at all the different venues in the area was an overwhelming experience, but when we arrived at the Morris Arboretum we knew we found the place we would get married. The atmosphere was romantic and private. I especially liked getting married at the Morris Arboretum because it provided a special and different experience for our guests. After our wedding, we kept receiving texts from our guests stating how the wedding and venue was unlike any of the other places they have been. My husband and I plan to go back and visit the spot we were married frequently and remember our special day together. That is something that cannot be done at the other chain-like venues. Our wedding at the Morris Arboretum was truly a dream and exactly what we imagined.
The Morris Arboretum is the PERFECT background for anyone interested in a garden inspired wedding venue! One of the highlights for us was the fact that you get the entire venue (90+ acres) fully to yourself when you rent for a wedding or other event which makes it feel very exclusive and intimate. The Out on A Limb feature cannot be missed! It was absolutely perfect for our sunset cocktail hour and our guests raved about it all night. I loved our wedding at the Arboretum more than I ever thought I would; highly, highly recommended!!
I just had to reach out and again thank you for ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING that you offered and how wonderfully helpful you all were this past year. You made the entire evening a dream that I didn't know was possible. We will always have an enormous soft spot in our hearts for the Arboretum and all of you who dedicated your time to make that night unforgettable. We can't wait to visit it again soon.
All our love,
Megan and Steven
Morris Arboretum was the first and only venue we looked at for our wedding. We are so pleased with our choice. We had a beautiful ceremony in the rose garden, a cocktail hour that everyone loved on Out on a Limb, and a fun reception under the tent. The arboretum provides such a beautiful and interesting experience for guests. We appreciated not needing to bring in tons of decorations; we could just focus on personal touches. The Arboretum is already an amazing backdrop. Use of the golf cart was a great feature. We were able to get some great photos in a variety of locations. Guests were even offered tours during the cocktail hour. The Arboretum Staff were accommodating, easy to work with, and genuinely nice people. They were always helpful and responsive when we had questions. We were provided with everything we needed. We love being members and visiting this place, especially now that it holds a special meaning for us.
The staff at Morris allowed me to honestly have the best day of my life. It didn't hurt that my weather was perfect, but my ceremony was under the trees while violins played, my cocktail hour was in an adult TREEHOUSE and my reception was under a white tent surrounded by flowers. I could not recommend Morris Arboretum more, and I am so unbelievably pleased that we went with our gut and chose the first venue we looked at! We also are becoming members here using the wedding discount so that for the next year my husband and I can relive our wedding day whenever we want. Best.Day.Ever.
The Morris Arboretum is a dream venue for a wedding. First, the staff is so responsive and easy to work with. The Arboretum offers a variety of grounds to hold the ceremony and cocktail hour with a beautiful tent reception. The front lawn and Out on a Limb are the perfect spaces. Not to mention, the entire Arboretum gives unlimited gorgeous backgrounds for a photo shoot. My guests are still raving that it was the best wedding they've ever attended. I could not recommend it more highly.
What a beautiful venue! We were married at the beginning of May and all of the Magnolias and Cherry Blossoms were in full bloom. Perfect! We opted for the Out On A Limb cocktail hour, where the setting is in the treetops 40 feet above the ground and looking out over the grounds. Amazing! The staff were very responsive and helpful every step of the way. It was a perfect relationship leading to a perfect day! Thank you!
